Who is Medelink?
Medelink Inc. is a Canada-based distributor in the Montreal (Quebec) area, supplying state-of-the-art technologies for researching and testing skin, scalp, hair, and nails across scientific and aesthetic industries.

Medelink supports two main groups: scientific researchers involved in skin and hair studies—especially for product and drug development, efficacy testing, and impact assessment—and aesthetic professionals who need objective skin and hair analysis to evaluate conditions and track results before and after treatments.
Do you work with cosmetic and pharma labs across Canada and the USA?
ReleGO™ & REVex™ ,Skin-on-chip platform, stands out due to their ability to mimic dynamic & continuous blood flow, allowing for the natural expression of significant proteins and genes as well as offering valuable insights into chronological ageing and wound healing under standardized conditions.
Do you offer consultation to help select the right system?

Does Medelink support multi-site studies for supplying and logistics of systems?
Yes. We can support multi-site projects with coordinated logistics and on-time delivery, including international shipments when required. Contact us with your study plan and site requirements, and we’ll propose the best approach for supply, scheduling, and support.
What is the difference between in-vitro, ex-vivo, and in-vivo testing?
In-vitro: Testing performed in the lab using models, reconstructed tissues, cells, or synthetic substrates (outside a living organism).
Ex-vivo: Testing performed on excised biological tissue (e.g., human or animal skin) maintained under controlled lab conditions.
In-vivo: Testing performed directly on living subjects (typically human volunteers) using non-invasive measurement and imaging methods
Do your technologies support both in-vivo and in-vitro studies?
Yes. Most of our solutions are designed for in-vivo testing such as testing probes and imaging systems, and we also offer a range of in-vitro systems for lab-based testing such as Skin-On-Chip technology and CellSpectrometer . What kinds of efficacy claims can your solutions help measure?
Depending on your protocol, our solutions can support claims related to hydration, barrier function (TEWL), elasticity/firmness, wrinkles, skin roughness and texture, pigmentation and redness, sebum/oiliness, gloss/shine, face and body topography, scalp/hair condition, and nail properties—with quantitative, trackable results. Do you provide technology for permeation/penetration testing?
Yes. Our ReleGO™ & REVex™ platforms use skin-on-chip microfluidic technology designed to mimic key aspects of human physiological conditions, supporting controlled permeation/penetration testing in the lab.
What’s the difference between scientific testing equipment and aesthetic analysis systems?
- Scientific equipment is built for research and efficacy testing—delivering quantitative, reproducible measurements and typically generating raw data intended for statistical analysis and reporting. Aesthetic analysis systems are built for consultations and treatment follow-up—providing fast assessments with results presented in a simpler, client-friendly format that’s easy for both the operator and the patient/client to understand.
- Scientific equipment is typically designed to be validated and calibrated, with routines to verify accuracy and measurement reliability. Aesthetic systems may also offer consistency checks, but formal calibration/validation is not always required depending on the intended use (consultation and visualization rather than research-grade measurement).

Do you offer short- and long-term equipment rentals for research?
Yes. We offer both short- and long-term rental options for many research systems, depending on the product and availability. Please refer to our Rental page for more information.
What is the difference between a calibration check and factory calibration?
A calibration check is a verification step to confirm the device is still reading within an acceptable range (often done on-site or through software/tools). Factory calibration is a full, formal recalibration performed by the manufacturer or an authorized service facility using certified reference standards—typically including a calibration certificate.
Do you offer calibration services for the equipment you sell?
Yes. We offer calibration support for our systems that require regular calibration. Contact us with your device model and serial number, and we’ll guide you through the process and scheduling.
How often should instruments and probes be calibrated?
It depends on the system. Many instruments and probes typically require calibration every 1–2 years. Contact us with your device model and usage conditions, and we’ll confirm the recommended calibration interval.What is the difference between a calibration check and factory calibration?
Do you provide calibration certificates for compliance or claims work?
Yes. Calibration services include a certificate/documentation of calibration provided with the instrument.
Do you offer and run efficacy testing at your facility?
No. Medelink does not run efficacy testing in-house. We supply the technology and support your team with setup, training, and guidance so you can run studies internally. If you prefer outsourced testing, we can also refer you to qualified service providers who can perform the tests for you.
Do you offer remote training and troubleshooting?
Yes. We provide remote training and troubleshooting, and we aim to respond as quickly as possible—often within 24 hours.
